We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper; someone who likes working with people, is a team-player and enjoys variety.

With the flexible working environment, the role on offer is focused on working with new and existing bookkeeping clients.

An integral part of the role includes: 

• Assisting clients with their management accounting systems including Xero and MYOB. 
• Providing Xero training and bookkeeping assistance to clients in-line with client needs.
• Maintaining accurate records for clients to report financial data.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Reconciliations of accounts receivable and payable.
• Processing payroll, superannuation, and EOFY requirements.
• The preparation of Business Activity Statements.

Skills and Experience required:

• A minimum 3 years experience in bookkeeping; including payroll processing, STP, BAS/IAS preparation, managing super obligations, payroll tax.
• Advanced experience with Xero; MYOB experience also an advantage.
• Great communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
• A passion for great customer service.
• Good attention to detail.
• Multi-tasking, problem-solving and time management skills.
• A mature and resourceful ‘self-starter’; with a positive attitude. 
• Ability to take ownership and pride in getting things done.
• Relevant educational and / or professional qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or higher).
